The short answer

The best SEObot alternatives in 2026 depend on how many articles you need each month. For about 30 on one site, Rankbox costs $49.50, and Outrank and RankYak cost $99, while SEObot's nearest plans are $99 for 20 or $199 for 50. For hundreds of articles, news, or programmatic pages, look at Byword, Arvow, and Autoblogging.ai, or stay where you are.

SEObot sells article credits in six monthly steps, from 9 to 300, and the credits never expire. That suits agencies and heavy publishers. A founder who wants one article a day fares worse, because no step lands on 30. This guide prices each option per article at the volumes SEObot sells, then ranks the SEObot alternatives for founders and small teams who want articles written and published for them.

Every price here was checked on 23 September 2026, on the vendor's own pricing page or help center. We make Rankbox, which is why it sits at number one, and its entry lists its limits as plainly as the others do. Where SEObot is the better buy, we say so.

Key Takeaways

  • SEObot's six plans run from $49 for 9 articles to $1,050 for 300, billed monthly only. Credits never expire.
  • No plan lands on 30, so an article a day means $199 for 50, or $99 for 20 and a shortfall.
  • Rankbox sells that missing plan, 30 articles on one site, for $49.50. Most other SEObot alternatives built around 30 a month charge $99.
  • Past 100 a month, SEObot's price per article is close to the flat plans: Byword's Scale plan is $999 for 300 against its $1,050. By our arithmetic, Arvow's and Autoblogging.ai's credits cost less still.
  • SEObot calls its backlinks "a bonus" with "No guarantee." No exchange here promises a link count either.
  • Programmatic pages, news, and YouTube-to-article are SEObot's real edge. Rankbox does none of them; Byword, Arvow, and Autoblogging.ai each cover part.

SEObot's Price Ladder Has No Rung at 30

SEObot has no public pricing page. Its help center lists six plans and says the complete list appears "after your website onboarding." Per-article costs below are our arithmetic.

SEObot planPrice a monthArticles a monthPer article
BEGINNER$499$5.44
PRO$9920$4.95
ULTIMATE$19950$3.98
ENTERPRISE$499100, plus 20 directory listings$4.99
EXTRA$570150$3.80
MEGA$1,050300$3.50
SEObot's plans, as listed in its help center on 23 September 2026.
SEObot's plans, as listed in its help center on 23 September 2026.

What the table doesn't show:

  1. Credits keep, upgrades bite. The upgrade doc says upgrades aren't prorated because credits don't expire. Move up mid-month and you pay the whole new price that day, with your old credits kept.
  2. The unit price doesn't fall in a straight line. ENTERPRISE costs more per article than ULTIMATE because it bundles directory listings. Agencies ordering 300 or more get SEObot's lowest rate, $3.50 an article.
  3. Old numbers circulate. Capterra still lists a $19 starting price that the help center no longer shows.

There's no free trial. The homepage offers a full refund on the $49 plan if the first article disappoints, and the terms refund unused credits within seven days of the original purchase. Both are more generous than Rankbox, whose subscriptions are non-refundable.

What an Article Costs at 20, 30, 50, and 300 a Month

Here's what each volume costs with SEObot and with the SEObot alternatives below. Start with 30 on one site, the number SEObot skips. Figures with an asterisk are our arithmetic for tools sold by credits or extra articles.

About 30 articles, one siteBilled monthlyPer articleBilled yearly, per month
SEObot ULTIMATE (50 articles)$199$3.98Not offered
SEObot PRO (20 articles, short of 30)$99$4.95Not offered

RankPill Business$99, $49.50 the first month$3.30$82.50
BabyLoveGrowth Grow$99$3.30$49
Arvow Solo$69$2.30*$39
Byword Starter, plus 5 extra articles$116.50*$3.88*$100*
Autoblogging.ai Regular$49$1.63*$32
Figure 1. What about 30 articles a month costs with each SEObot alternative on monthly billing, checked on 23 September 2026. SEObot's bar is its $199 plan, the cheapest that covers 30.

Rankbox isn't the cheapest of the SEObot alternatives in that table. Autoblogging.ai's Regular plan is 50 cents less, and its $19 Starter plan is the lowest entry price here. Yearly billing pulls BabyLoveGrowth, Arvow, and Autoblogging.ai lower still, but you'd be paying a year ahead for a tool you've used for days. Pay monthly until a tool earns its place, as our cheap SEO guide argues.

And the larger volumes SEObot sells:

Articles a monthSEObotSEObot alternatives, billed monthly
50$199Autoblogging.ai Regular, $49*; Arvow Solo, $69*; Outrank, 60 for $184
100$499Autoblogging.ai Standard, $99*; Arvow Business, $169*; BabyLoveGrowth Scale, 120 for $399
150$570Autoblogging.ai Standard, $99*; Arvow Business, $169*; Byword Standard plus 70 extras, $509*
300$1,050Autoblogging.ai Gold, $179*; Arvow Ultimate, $449*; Byword Scale, $999

At 20, SEObot's PRO plan works out to $4.95 an article, so 30 Rankbox articles cost less than 20 from SEObot. Rankbox stops at 30 per site, though, and each extra site is another $49.50. The lowest figures come from credits, and credits come with conditions. These assume English Godlike Mode articles on Autoblogging.ai and one image per article on Arvow, with no tracking and every credit used before it expires.

SEObot Alternatives Built Around 30 Articles a Month

These six SEObot alternatives sell the plan SEObot doesn't: one site, roughly an article a day, a flat monthly price. To make the list, a tool had to research, write, and publish on a schedule, show its prices on its own site, and still be shipping in 2026.

1. Rankbox — best for exactly 30 articles a month, without paying for 50

Rankbox has one plan: 30 articles a month for one site, $49.50, about $1.65 each. That's less than SEObot charges for 20 and a quarter of its price for 50. Nothing is billed yearly, and each additional site costs $49.50.

Rankbox reads your site and maps what people ask Google and AI assistants with its answer-space research; the demand figures are AI estimates, not keyword-database numbers. Its citation-ready writer researches the pages ranking today and drafts roughly 2,750 words, citing sources inline and in a References list. Any draft that fails a check behind the SEO and GEO score is rewritten until it passes, in a brand voice learned from your site that you can edit. You set the pace, from weekly up to daily.

  • Delivery: through the Rankbox publishing API, which someone technical sets up one time. Native plugins for WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer, and Square aren't released yet.
  • Links and Reddit: paid plans include a backlink exchange with 30 credits a month and Reddit reply drafts you post yourself, both rolling out as of September 2026.
  • Trial: 7 days, card required, up to 7 articles. After that, subscriptions are non-refundable, except for billing errors or where the law requires it.

Where SEObot is ahead: volume past 30, programmatic pages, news, YouTube-to-article, native publishing to nine platforms, and a stated 3,000-word average. Rankbox has no live AI citation monitoring yet and allows one login per account. The Rankbox vs SEObot page sets the two side by side.

2. Outrank — best for one site that will outgrow 30

If SEObot appealed because you could buy more, Outrank's add-ons give one site room to grow. The All-in-One plan is $99 a month, or $999 a year, for 30 articles. Pay $85 more for 60 articles or $160 more for 90. At $184 for 60, each article costs about $3.07, under the $3.98 SEObot charges on its 50-article plan. Multi-site discounts reach 20% at 20 to 25 sites.

Coming from SEObot, you'd gain unlimited AI rewrites, Search Console refreshes that don't use article credits, native publishing to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Framer, Wix, Notion, and Ghost, and a Shopify catalog sync. SEObot's interactive mini-tools have a paid match: the Free Tools Builder add-on ships one tool a week for $99 a month.

What you'd give up is length. Outrank's own site puts articles at 1,200 to 1,700 words. Its base-plan links come from hosting other members' links, with no set number, and it has no AI citation tracking. First-time subscribers can ask for a full refund within 7 days, per its terms. More on Rankbox vs Outrank and in our Outrank alternatives guide.

3. RankYak — best for long articles across many sites

SEObot's 3,000-word average is one reason people pick it. RankYak says its articles reach "up to 5,000 words," with the length set by search intent, and every one is researched against the current top results. RankYak Pro costs $99 a month per site, or $82.50 billed yearly, for 30 articles, one a day on the days you choose.

Every site costs the same $99 and gets its own 30 articles, and the fair-use policy lets one subscription hold up to 25 sites. Search Console data triggers rewrites of articles that slip, a fix for content decay. The backlink exchange screens members and caps each partner site at one link to you a month.

Watch for: there's no plan under $99 and no AI citation tracker. Site Guard, which checks existing pages daily, is another $99 a month. The free trial lasts 3 days and covers one site, and the terms say "No refunds will be issued for unused portions of service periods."

4. SEOTakeoff — best for reading articles before you pay

Testing SEObot costs $49. Testing SEOTakeoff costs nothing: its pricing page says "Try 3 Articles Free" and "No card required for the trial." After that, 30 articles a month cost $9 for the first month and $69 from then on, or $2.30 each.

Its angle is your expertise, not volume. Articles draw on a knowledge base of your proof and opinions, "Every claim cites where it came from," and each gets an SEO score and an answer-engine score before it goes out. It publishes straight to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, Shopify, Wix, Notion, HubSpot, and Sanity.

For scale, look elsewhere: the one published plan stops at 30 a month, and pricing for several sites or a team is "available on request." It lists no backlinks or AI tracking. The About page describes a one-person company, and the "Founding member" price may not last. The page promises "Pages index in 30 days or your money back," though the terms describe refunds more narrowly.

5. RankPill — best for Reddit drafts and measured keyword data

RankPill sells a single Business plan: 30 articles a month, one a day, for one site, at $99 a month, $89 billed quarterly, or $82.50 billed yearly. The pricing page now shows 50% off the first month, so a new customer pays $49.50 and then $99. That first month costs the same as Rankbox; from the second month, Rankbox is half the price.

Two features have no counterpart in SEObot's docs. The Reddit tool finds threads that rank on Google for your keyword and drafts a comment for each, which you post yourself. And keyword research shows search volume and difficulty from DataForSEO. The plan also lists "3,000+ word" articles, 30 backlink credits a month, and "Unlimited rewrites & team members."

Its credit rules run the other way from SEObot's. Credits "do not roll over between billing periods," say RankPill's terms, which also rule out refunds "under any circumstances." A link costs as many credits as the host site's Domain Rating, per the exchange page, so a month's 30 credits buys one link from a DR 30 site. AI visibility is marked "Coming soon." Its Trustpilot average stood at 2.8 out of 5, across 30 reviews, on 21 September 2026. Compare Rankbox vs RankPill, or read our RankPill alternatives.

6. BabyLoveGrowth — best for AI tracking in the bill, on yearly billing

BabyLoveGrowth's Grow plan puts four things in one subscription: 30 articles a month, a backlink exchange across what it calls "4,000+ partner sites," daily tracking of 10 AI prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and "Reddit & Quora agents."

Monthly, Grow is $99. Yearly, it's $49 a month, about $1.63 an article by our arithmetic, but that's $588 paid up front. For SEObot-sized volume, Scale gives 120 articles and a human specialist for $399 a month, or $199 billed yearly, where SEObot charges $499 for 100.

  • Trial and guarantee: a 3-day free trial, then a 90-day money-back guarantee with conditions: three paid months, every article published, and zero growth.
  • Tracking scope: three models, so Perplexity and Google AI Overviews aren't covered.
  • Reviews: Trustpilot has withdrawn its rating, noting "This company has been offering incentives for reviews" (seen 23 September 2026), while the pricing page still shows "Trustpilot 4.7/5."

SEObot Alternatives for Volume, News, and Programmatic Pages

The last three SEObot alternatives suit people who buy 100 or more articles a month, run many sites, or rely on modules beyond blog posts.

7. Arvow — best for news, video, and many sites on one plan

Arvow, formerly Journalist AI, covers two of SEObot's extras with an AI News Writer and a Video to Blog Post tool, and its bigger plans stretch across many sites. Arvow's pricing runs on monthly credits:

  • Solo: $69 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 1,000 credits and one website.
  • Business: $169, or $69 billed yearly, for 3,000 credits and five websites. It adds the backlink exchange and AI tracking across six engines, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
  • Ultimate: $449, or $249 billed yearly, for 9,000 credits and unlimited websites.

An article costs 15 credits, a standard AI image 1 more, and an article generated from a feed 10 more. By our arithmetic, 50 articles with images use 800 of Solo's credits, a volume that takes SEObot's $199 plan. The catch is expiry: unused credits "expire at the end of the month," per Arvow's credit docs, where SEObot's never do. Tracked AI prompts cost 6 credits each, too.

The yearly prices are shown as a limited-time sale. The pricing page lists no trial, refunds apply only to yearly renewals, and its Trustpilot page averaged 2.6 out of 5 across 50 reviews on 23 September 2026.

8. Byword — best for programmatic SEO and 300 articles a month

If you use SEObot for programmatic SEO, start here. Programmatic pages are many similar pages built from one template and a dataset, such as a page per city or per product. Byword's programmatic tool fills a template from a CSV file, Google Sheets, or Airtable, for anything from 100 to 10,000+ pages. Its credits roll over and never expire, as SEObot's do.

Byword planMonthlyYearlyArticles a monthEach extra article
Starter$99$99025$3.50
Standard$299$2,99080$3.00
Scale$999$9,990300$2.50

Scale undercuts SEObot's $1,050 at 300. Starter covers 5 domains and the higher plans unlimited domains, useful if you split SEObot credits across sites today. Beyond that sits Unlimited: a $1,999 monthly fee plus your own AI costs, about $0.10 an article by Byword's estimate. You can start with five free articles and no card. Paid plans publish to WordPress, Webflow, Ghost, HubSpot, and Medium.

It's a writer more than an autopilot: the scheduler spaces out articles you've already generated, and no daily topic-picking mode is documented. There are no backlinks, AI visibility needs a separate Trakkr account, and the billing docs say "We don't offer automatic refunds." See Rankbox vs Byword.

9. Autoblogging.ai — best for the lowest cost per article, if you steer it

By our arithmetic, Autoblogging.ai's credits buy the most articles per dollar on this list. A full "Godlike Mode" article, with SERP competitor analysis, costs 2 credits. Plans cost $19 for 40 credits, $49 for 120, $99 for 300, $179 for 600, $249 for 1,000, and $999 for 5,000 a month, about 35% less billed yearly. That's 60 full articles from Regular's 120 credits, about $0.82 each, and 300 from Gold for $179. Credits roll over while you stay subscribed.

It also matches several SEObot modules. News Mode pulls from Google News, YouTube to Blog and RSS to Blog turn other content into posts, and from Regular up you can upload a CSV of up to 500 articles at once. It publishes to WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Blogger, and Ghost, and a free tier gives 10 credits a month with no card.

Non-English articles cost 1 extra credit, and the Fact Checker adds 2, which halves the counts above. You choose topics and modes yourself, so it's less hands-off than SEObot, and AI tracking covers Google AI Overviews only. A homepage testimonial mentions "parasite SEO," a volume tactic that may not suit a brand site. Its Trustpilot score was 4.3 out of 5, across 69 reviews, on 23 September 2026.

What SEObot Counts as a Bonus

Three parts of SEObot are extras, not promises.

Backlinks. SEObot's backlinks doc says they're "a bonus and are not part of your paid plan deliverables." Each new article earns one credit, which "permits us to try to place one relevant backlink," with "No guarantee." To join, you allow dofollow links to other members' sites inside your own articles. The SEObot alternatives with exchanges count credits in their own ways:

ToolCreditsWhat a link costs
SEObot1 per new article1 credit, placed if a match turns up
Rankbox (rolling out)30 a month on paid plans1 to 3 by host tier, topic-matched, no direct swaps; spent only once the link is verified live
RankPill30 a monthThe host site's Domain Rating in credits
OutrankEarned by hosting linksNo fixed count on the base plan
RankYakEarned by publishingAt most one link a month from any one site

None of these promise a number of links, and Google counts "excessive link exchanges" as link spam in its spam policies. Before you treat an exchange as value, ask the vendor how many links a site like yours gets in a typical month, and from where.

Do-overs. SEObot doesn't regenerate or delete articles "due to production costs," and there's "no direct feature" to regenerate images. Length isn't a direct setting either. If you often send drafts back, Outrank and RankPill both advertise unlimited rewrites.

Edits in your CMS. SEObot's editing doc says to make changes inside SEObot, because edits made in your CMS get overwritten. If you polish posts in WordPress, that matters from day one.

Programmatic Pages, News, and Video: Who Else Does Them

Every SEObot plan includes programmatic SEO from a data schema and an HTML template, plus news, YouTube-to-article, and interactive mini-tools. The SEObot alternatives on this list cover two at most.

SEObot moduleWhere else you'll find it on this list
Programmatic pages from a datasetByword
Bulk batches from a CSVAutoblogging.ai, up to 500 at a time
News articlesArvow's AI News Writer, Autoblogging.ai's News Mode
YouTube to articleArvow's Video to Blog Post, Autoblogging.ai's YouTube to Blog
Interactive mini-toolsOutrank's Free Tools Builder, $99 a month extra

Rankbox does none of these. It writes standard long-form articles, 30 a month per site.

Template pages carry a known risk whichever tool builds them: Google treats scaled content abuse, pages made in bulk mainly to rank, as spam. Give each page something the others don't, such as local prices or data.

Pick by How Many Articles You Need

  • Fewer than 10 a month: SEObot's refundable $49 BEGINNER plan, or Autoblogging.ai's $19 Starter if you'll steer it.
  • 20 to 30 on one site: Rankbox, at $49.50 for 30, or Outrank and RankYak at $99 for native CMS publishing.
  • 30, read before paying: SEOTakeoff's three free articles.
  • 30 with AI tracking: BabyLoveGrowth on yearly billing, or Arvow's Business plan.
  • 30 with Reddit drafts today: RankPill.
  • 50 to 90 on one site: Outrank, at $184 for 60 or $259 for 90.
  • 100 to 300 across several sites: SEObot, Byword, or Arvow, depending on whether you want an autopilot, templates, or news.
  • The lowest price per article: Autoblogging.ai.

Who Should Keep Their SEObot Plan

Sometimes the answer is none of these SEObot alternatives. SEObot remains a sound buy if:

  1. You publish 100 or more a month, or across many sites. Credits never expire, and you can split them across websites. One catch: a site without its own subscription skips automatic re-linking, new-page monitoring, and Search Console tuning.
  2. You use programmatic pages, news, and YouTube-to-article together. None of the SEObot alternatives above documents all three in one plan.
  3. You want native publishing without a developer. SEObot connects to nine platforms, from WordPress and Shopify to Framer, HubSpot, and Notion. Rankbox needs a developer to connect its API once.
  4. You want a cheap test with a refund. Nine articles cost $49, refunded in full if the first one disappoints.

Leaving SEObot Without Wasting Credits

SEObot's docs say you keep your articles after you cancel, so nothing published disappears. Credits are what you can lose. Before you move to any of these SEObot alternatives, work through this order.

  1. Spend the balance, but don't upgrade. Queue your remaining topics, and ask support what happens to leftover credits once you cancel.
  2. Cancel close to your renewal date. The unused-credit refund covers only seven days from the original purchase, so don't count on one later.
  3. Keep the URLs that earn clicks. Check Search Console first. If a URL must move, set a 301 with our redirect generator.
  4. Unlink SEObot before editing old posts. Otherwise your CMS changes may be overwritten.
  5. Decide on exchange links. If you joined SEObot's backlink pool, your articles may carry links to other members' sites.
  6. Give the new tool new topics. Two articles chasing one query compete with each other, a problem called keyword cannibalization. Approve its first month of topics yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best SEObot alternative?

The right pick among SEObot alternatives depends on volume. For about 30 articles a month on one site, Rankbox costs $49.50, and Outrank and RankYak cost $99 with native publishing. For programmatic pages, Byword is the closest match. At 300 a month, Byword, Arvow, and Autoblogging.ai all cost less than SEObot's $1,050.

Are there cheaper SEObot alternatives?

Yes, at most volumes. For about 30 a month on monthly billing, Autoblogging.ai's Regular plan ($49) and Rankbox ($49.50) are the cheapest SEObot alternatives here, against SEObot's $199 for 50. Paid yearly, Autoblogging.ai drops to $32 a month and Arvow's Solo plan to $39.

Is there a free SEObot alternative?

None is free for ongoing use, but several SEObot alternatives let you test without paying. SEOTakeoff gives three articles with no card, Byword gives five, and Autoblogging.ai has a free tier of 10 credits a month. Rankbox (card required), RankYak, and BabyLoveGrowth offer short free trials. SEObot has no trial, though its $49 plan is refundable if the first article disappoints.

Do SEObot credits expire, and do other tools' credits?

SEObot's credits never expire, and only some SEObot alternatives match that. Byword's roll over and never expire too, and Autoblogging.ai's roll over while you stay subscribed. Arvow's expire at the end of each month, and RankPill's don't roll over between billing periods. Rankbox, Outrank, and RankYak price by articles a month rather than by a credit balance.

Which SEObot alternatives track ChatGPT citations?

Two on this list. BabyLoveGrowth tracks 10 prompts a day in ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and Arvow tracks six engines, including ChatGPT, from its Business plan. Autoblogging.ai tracks Google AI Overviews only. SEObot has no tracking, and Rankbox scores articles for AI-answer readiness but doesn't monitor citations yet.

Which SEObot alternatives are on your shortlist, and how many articles a month do you actually publish?
